Medical Malpractice  issues have received a great deal of attention in recent years from Pennsylvania legislators, resulting in the "MCare Act" www.mcare.state.pa.us and more barriers to victims.  As a result, my practice has increased its focus on this area of litigation. Children continue to suffer birth injuries resulting in severe and frequently permanent injury including cerebral palsy . I continue to find inspiration watching these children smile through their challenges.  A victim of medical negligence, for whom an award of money won't change their condition or bring back their loved one, is nevertheless entitled to whatever comfort money can bring, including better living conditions, transportation, home care, nighttime care, and financial security. Typically, a lawyer must be hired and a law suit must be filed to get that kind of result.

I also represent victims of vehicle accidents including car, truck, and motorcycle accidents. I have represented pedestrians who have been injured by negligent drivers, all too frequently drunk drivers. If a defective roadway has contributed to a serious personal injury, I have been able to accept a limited number of those matters as well.

Finally, the vulnerable among us include victims of neglect at nursing homes . I have had the privilege of representing the elderly, often despite their underlying medical condition. Injuries from understaffing, lack of a care plan, failure to recognize a change in condition, failure to call the doctor in, are matters lawyers can help with.
