David Hunter, a lifelong resident of Erie, Pennsylvania, maintains his practice at 821 State Street, Erie, Pa, next door to the famed Warner Theatre in the heart of downtown. Attorney Hunter began practicing law at the same time he started his family with his wife  Susan. Together they have raised their four (4) children. In the early years as an Attorney, the practice of law for Mr. Hunter was varied, including family law, worker's compensation, some appellate advocacy, and of course criminal defense. At the same time, he gradually built the practice around the representation of victims, typically car or motorcycle accident victims, but also victims of harrassment, civil rights violations, work place discrimination, premises liability matters, and general negligence. In the past several years, he has focused exclusively on medical malpractice and vehicle accident cases.

Attorney Hunter belongs to the American Association for Justice, formerly known as the American Trial Lawyers Association, where he has been recognized as an "Advocate" for achieving 50 hours of credit from the AAJ College of Advocacy. He has been a lecturer for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute. He has frequently acted as a policyholder's arbitrator in MVFRL related uim/um arbitrations. Attorney Hunter  has represented individuals in front of juries, to verdict, in Allegheny, Crawford and Erie County and in the Western District of the United States District Court. He has represented individuals and their loved ones in medical malpractice trials that went to verdict in Allegheny, Crawford, and Erie County.
